Blue 1

Blue 1 is geared toward the 9 to 12 year old swimmer who can legally swim 50 yards of each stroke and a 100 yard IM. Five practices are offered per week and focus on continued skill development, team building, race strategy, and learning how to train and set and achieve goals. Practice and meet participation are crucial in this group. Swimmers should also have an understanding of pace clocks and simple intervals. The next stage in their development would be advancing to Gold 2.
