What group is your swimmer in? 
Katelyn is in Gold 1.

How long has your child been swimming?
She started swimming at Lenny Krayzelburg's Swim Academy in Los Angeles when she was 6 months old and continued until she was four. This is when we moved to Petaluma. She took swim lessons for the next two years but she kept asking for more. She joined another team but she needed something different so in August/September 2019 we joined the Westside Aquaducks and have been loving it ever since. 

What inspired you to join the booster board?
I like giving back and being involved. 

What's your favorite part of being involved with the team?
I love the people - we have a community of great families. I also enjoy supporting the team and bringing people together.

How has swimming positively affected your family?
Wow, in so many ways. We've made some great friends, created some amazing memories, visited towns we would have not normally explored, and provided comfort during challenging times.

What advice would you give to a new swim family?
Don't be afraid to ask questions. There's a lot to learn when you first join. Reach out to anyone on the board, or your coach, we are all happy to help.

What's your favorite Petaluma restaurant?
There are so many great places, how do I pick just one? :)
Here are a few: Della Fattoria (Breakfast), Tortilla Real (Mexican), Acre (Pizza), Wild Goat (Dinner), Risibisi (Italian), Table Culture Provisions (Fancy)....the list goes on!
